Start by logging into your 21stCenturyEd account. Once you're in, click on your name in the top right corner to navigate to your profile page. This is your personal space where you can showcase your professional identity.

Customizing Your Profile Image

Your profile picture is the first thing people notice. To change it, click on the settings gear icon on your current profile image. The platform offers several preset options to choose from, or you can upload your own image. Simply click on the picture you want, and the system handles the rest automatically.

While preset options work perfectly fine, consider using more personalized options such as AI-generated images to create a unique professional avatar that represents you.

Setting Your Background Image

Your profile background adds visual interest to your page. Click on the background settings gear icon and upload an image from your computer. This customization helps make your profile feel more personalized and welcoming to visitors.

Understanding Your Profile Navigation

Below your profile picture, you'll find a navigation bar with several important sections:

• About and Information Pages - These sections allow you to share professional details about yourself
• Course Tabs - Display courses relevant to your role, including courses you're enrolled in, actively teaching, completed courses, and archived courses

Note that you'll only see tabs that apply to your specific account and role on the platform.

The edit button on the far right is your gateway to finishing your profile setup. Here you can add your profile description and update your information.

While nothing is required, we strongly recommend adding a short description that includes your title, a brief professional history, or information about your hobbies. This helps students and colleagues connect with you on a more personal level.
