How to Use Course Access Codes

Course access codes make it easy for students to enroll in your classes on the 21stCenturyEd platform. This guide will show you how to find your course access codes and share them with students for seamless enrollment.

 

Finding Your Course Access Code

Start by logging into your 21stCenturyEd account. Locate the course you're using and click on it to open the course page. On the right-hand side, you'll find the admin section where your course's access code is displayed.

 

Sharing Access Codes with Students

Copy the access code and provide it to your students. This code allows them to quickly enroll in your course without manual intervention from administrators.

If your course does not list an access code, please reach out to our tech team for assistance with your settings. They can help ensure your course is properly configured for student enrollment.

 

How Students Use Access Codes

Students follow a simple process to join your course using the access code:

  1. Log into their dashboard pages
  2. Hover over the courses section
  3. Click on "enroll" in the pop-up tab
  4. Enter the given access code
  5. Click enroll to enter the course

Once students complete these steps, the course will immediately appear on their dashboard.

 

Verifying Student Enrollment

After students add your course, they will see it displayed on their dashboard page. Sometimes students may see multiple tabs under courses, such as teaching or completed sections, so remind them to check their enrolled section to locate newly added courses.

As an instructor, you can confirm student enrollment by accessing your course and checking the learners tab. This tab allows you to track progress, assignments, and grades for each enrolled student, giving you complete visibility into your class roster.

 

Troubleshooting Access Code Issues

If students report that an access code isn't working, verify that:

  • The code was copied correctly without extra spaces
  • The course is active and published
  • The student is logged into the correct account
